That sounded highly suspicious. They claimed to be from O2 seeking service feedback, even though I’m not an O2 customer. When I asked for a name, they replied “Sarah”. I declined to provide any details, requested removal from their list, and blocked the number.

The call came from a Manchester number, yet when questioned, the person claimed to be from Slough. I think this caller is not who they say they are. She tried to send two verification numbers, which I ignored. I told her to ring back tomorrow, perhaps to waste more of her time. At 78, I shouldn’t be wasting any time, but a bit of fun now and then isn’t harmful. Don’t trust anything she says.
After not answering, I returned the call anonymously; the caller claimed to be BT, and I later researched the number, suspecting a scam.
