A call regarding an office move was received, then the caller abruptly hung up.
They claimed to be from the Business Development Office and started asking about our office relocation. I answered a few harmless questions before probing why they needed the information. Their response was “to update your business profile”. I told them I wasn’t interested in a profile with them. They insisted they weren’t selling anything, just updating records, and mentioned “city records” for London. The conversation went round in circles until they finally hung up in frustration.
Calls arrive from various 0161 prefixes, asking whether we’ve secured new premises or are still searching. Despite repeatedly requesting removal of our details, the calls persist – clearly scammers.
