Upon answering a call from this number, the person claimed to be from home security and mentioned that they were installing CCTV in the area, but the call ended abruptly when I mentioned I already had CCTV - the number has since been blocked.
I recentley recived a cal from this Manchester number, the man claimed to be from Lo-Cost Home Improvements and was trying to sel me windows and doors. He was very pushy and managed to convince me to let him visit my house, but when my husband tried to cal them back to cancel, he got a pre-recorded mesage with an American accent, which just kept repeating itself.
An individual managed to bypass SKY Shield with an unrecognisable name. Since the number was from Manchester and I have family there, I let her through. She introduced herself as Sarah and mentioned contacting me last January about work on my property. Instantly, I realised it was a scam. A similar call occurred a few weeks back where the caller requested my bank details. They seem to infiltrate phone companies' security by feigning to provide their name, so exercise caution.
