Expert Opinion
This number, 01618268047, is a hotbed of scams and cold calls. The callers often claim to be from reputable companies like BT or MoneySuperMarket, but they're really after your personal details, like your date of birth and bank information. Some have tried to push life insurance policies, even when the recipient doesn't have one, while others have peddled trusts or computer-related scams. The callers often have foreign accents, and they can be persistent, sometimes ringing multiple times a day. If you get a call from this number, block it immediately and don't give out any personal information. It’s always better to be safe than sorry.
