Expert Opinion
The analysis of the comments and caller information reveals that the caller is likely involved in aggressive advertising, specifically targeting individuals with PPI claims and other financial services. The frequency and persistence of the calls, often multiple times a day, suggest a telemarketing approach. Many users have reported feeling harassed and frustrated by the constant calls, despite requesting to be removed from the caller's list. The use of misleading or unverified information to initiate calls is also a common theme, adding to the overall sense of nuisance and mistrust. It is essential for individuals to be cautious and vigilant when dealing with such callers, and to take steps to protect their personal information and prevent further harassment.

Ppi claim scam attempt
Upon receiving a call from this number, I was informed that I had unclaimed funds from a pre-2009 card, supposedly obtained from a banking database. However, the caller used a variant of my name not associated with my banking records. When I requested proof of their identity and the card in question, they became irate.
Here’s a strategy I came across, courtesy of my aunt, who happens to be a police officer. She mentioned that recording phone calls is legally permissible. When you identify the caller as this number, inform them: 'This call is being recorded and may be used in legal proceedings if necessary. If you consent, state your name and company clearly. If not, hang up, and your number will be reported to the authorities.' You’ll be amazed at how swiftly they disconnect and remove your details. Remember, always notify them about the recording to avoid legal issues. This method is effective and within your rights. I’ve even seen cases where such calls led to arrests. Stand up to these scammers—don’t let them intimidate you.
I am extremely cautious with my personal details, only sharing my number with trusted companies, schools, and healthcare providers. I never respond to spam emails or participate in sweepstakes, and I always opt out of data sharing. Despite this, the caller asked for me by name, which suggests that my details must have been obtained through some online association. After telling them I was deceased, they removed my details, but they continue to call, even after being saved as an unknown number.
PPI spammers muttering their company name quickly.

Repeated calls from this number are becoming annoying, as they ring multiple times daily and refuse to stop.
Answering the call resulted in hearing background voices before it was disconnected. I've blocked the number, believing them to be timewasters.
I've experienced repeated instances of silence when answering this number on my mobile phone, leading me to suspect they might be trying to determine the recipient's gender and age. This has occurred multiple times in a short span, and it's becoming increasingly frustrating.
The frequent calls from this number, often with no one on the other end, are extremely frustrating, and I'd like to confront the responsible parties
Last week, I recived a call from this number claiming I was owed PPI on a previous credit card, which I knew was incorrect, as I've never actuallly had a credit card; they rang again today, and I'm getting rather annoyed.
I was so fed up with these calls, i swore at them and hung up, then they had the cheek to call me back and ask why i swore, i told them i was just sick of their constant calling
I keep receiving calls from this number. A couple of weeks ago, I answered once and requested they remove my details from their system. Clearly, that hasn't been done yet!
I'm glad I didnt answer the call, having read the above comments, it seem like a waste of time
The individual on the other end of the line was extremely impolite, claiming I had purchased PPI in 2008, which was not the case. When I questioned the origin of my details, the call was abruptly terminated.
I've had enough of these PPI calls, I blocked the number and it was the best thing I ever did, they've tried calling me 3 times today, what a pain

Calls about PPI claims
They called my work number, claiming they got my details from my mension provider, but the person, Jordon, wasnt able to tell me who, I'm a NHS emplyee and we dont sell informations
They kept insisting I needed somthing from them, even after I told them I didnt, they were very pushy and kept calling me darling, I've blocked them now
It's puzzling that they persist in calling despite being blocked, and the call automaticaly gets terminated when they try to ring. One wonders what they hope to achieve, and I also recieved a mysterious voicemail, although my voicemail is not activated, so I have no way of listening to it. I will have to examine my phone bill to understand what is happning, and possibily contest the charges.
Despite my explicit request to be removed from their calling list and expressing disinterest, they continue to call.
