A woman rang asking for Mr Bates, when told he didnt exsist, she asked for our directors by name, i asked for her name but she refused to give it and hung up, its unprofesional to exspect to be put through to a director without disclosing your own identity
They refused to explain the purpose of their call until I provided my name. I didn’t give it, yet they proceeded to ask if my name was..."?" which was indeed correct. I have blocked them. When will companies realise that only foolish individuals share personal information without knowing who they are speaking to? If they had a legitimate offer, why the secrecy?
When asked to provide more information before transferring the call to a manager, the caller abruptly ended the conversation.
These people are a nusence, they keep calling me several times a week, despite me telling them i'm not intrested in their servises, they just wont give up.
Despite being blocked, they continute to leave voicemails, I have contacted trading standerds to report this issue.
They insisted on speaking with the owner, claiming it was confidential, but it was clearly a sales tactic.
