The caller from this number spoke rapidly, claiming they were not selling anything but rather seeking opinions. However, their persistence was unwelcome, and I explicitly told them not to call again. Unfortunately, my request was ignored.
Digital Mail harassment calls – stop them now!
Summary — +441619390454
Expert Opinion
These calls are clearly unwanted and appear to breach data protection and privacy rules, as they repeatedly request personal and banking details without consent. Callers identify themselves loosely as a PPI refund team linked to Digital Mail Ltd, yet they persist despite clear requests to stop them. Under the UK Telephone Preference Service (TPS) and GDPR, individuals have the right to an end to such harassment and to refuse the processing of their personal data. Practical steps include registering on the TPS, using call‑blocking apps, reporting the number to the Information Commissioner’s Office, and requesting a written cease‑and‑desist from Digital Mail. PPI scams often hide behind legitimate‑sounding offers, so never share details over the phone.

Recent Reports for 0161 939 0454
Screened the call earlier today. Looked it up online and blocked the number immediately. Clearly scammers.
I received two calls from 0161 939 0454 today. Since no one spoke, I hung up and have now blocked the caller.
They ring and hang up every single time.
Unwanted calls persist
Ive had several calls from this number, finaly answered and had a similair conversation to what everyone else is having, tried to politely decline but the lady persisted, think Ive found a way to end these calls, by asking them to confirm who they want to speak to, if they call again I might have some fun with it, starting with giving them fake names and adresses, like Elizabeth Windsor, David Cameron, etc
stop calling me please
This number wont stop calling me, i need to find a way to stop them, they wont delete my number from their database
Being billed per minute for forwarded landline calls to my mobile is infuriating, especially when this PPI team rings my voicemail and I’m still charged. I couldn’t uncover much about this number apart from its Manchester landline origin. After reviewing the details here, it’s clear numerous reports link it to foreign call centres masquerading as Manchester-based, with many similar numbers owned by Digital Mail. SINCE I’M BEING HIT WITH MINUTE-BY-MINUTE CHARGES!!!! for these calls, Digital Mail profits at my expense. How can these foreign scammers claim to save me money when they’re draining my wallet with every call? The government must shut down Digital Mail—it’s as straightforward as that.
They keep calling me claiming i have a PPI refund due, but i have never had PPI, when i told them this, they tried to convince me otherwise, its a compleate scam and harrasment
When I asked this man to remove my number from his company and stop calling me he became abusive shouting why why why. I didn't know what he wanted he had already mentioned payment protection and then he slammed the phone down. I do not want cold calls.
These callers have been ringing me multiple times daily, and their persistence is notable, even when I don't answer. It's impossible to request removal from their contact list, as their number is up for sale, allowing them to circumvent their legal obligations. To put an end to this harassment, I recommend contacting Digital Mail at 020 7060 2000.
The representative's behaviour was appalling, refusing to remove my number unless I answered their questions, and when I objected, they claimed to be just doing their job, continuing to refuse my request.
This month, I've received repeated missed calls from Digital Mail's number 01619390454, which I've now blocked, along with their other numbers, 01619390225, 01619390228, 01619390442, and 01619390335. Given my registration on the TPS since 2013, it's puzzling why their clients would need to contact me. I suspect these calls are related to PPI refunds, as some colleagues have received similar calls from Digital Mail's Manchester number, 01619397225.
Calls recieved constantly, morning and night, every single day! Always verify their identity online before picking up!
I've had multiple calls from a cold calling group known as the PPI Team. Each time I block their number, they switch to a new one, all starting with 0161 939 and owned by Digital Mail Ltd. I'm extremely stressed and frustrated as they claim I'm due a bank refund but can't name my bank. The callers at 0161 9390454 are rude and harassing me almost daily. Blocking doesn't work, so I have to hang up each time. I hope Digital Mail will address this harassment.

Received a call from this number, the woman claimed to be from the PPI team. When I mentioned I was at work and requested my details be removed, she rudely responded, 'All you needed to say was to call back later, not remove your details - you're unaware of the call's purpose.' Naturally, I ended the call and blocked the number. No reputable company would tolerate such unprofessional behavior.
For over a year, I have been plagued by calls from this number, culminating in an aggressive caller whose behaviour crossed the line into harassment, prompting me to terminate the call abruptly.
Having previously dealt with numerous PPI calls, the one from this number stood out for its extreme aggression; after requesting to be removed from their list, the caller shouted at me over the phone, and upon hanging up, they immediately called back, continuing their abusive behavior, which I find utterly appalling and intend to report to the relevant authorities.
The caller asked how I knew I didn't have PPI. Told him it was none of his business.
The caller was dificult to understand, i asked him to remove me from his list, but he became insisten, arguing that he could save me money, i eventualy told him to leave me alone and hung up
PPI calls won’t stop. Told them off, but they keep ringing back using similar numbers. I’ve blocked 10 numbers so far, all from Manchester, all PPI-related. Got your number now, and it’s blocked too.
An individual attempted to sell me some pension nonsense.
Given their persistence, I've chosen to ignore calls from this number unless they leave a message, and have since blocked it
The caller was extremely persistent, attempting to discuss PPI, and continued to ask questions even after I expressed my disinterest and requested that they not call again.
Out of the blue, I received a call from someone who struggled to speak English and refused to accept my decline. They claimed I'd requested a callback, which was clearly not the case. When I tried to clarify, they cut me off, and upon calling back, I spoke to another person who repeated the same claim but couldn't provide any details.
This particular number is associated with Digital Mail, and their contact information includes 020 7060 2000 and support@dmclub.net.
It's infuriating to be subjected to these calls multiple times a day for two weeks; why must we tolerate such harassment?
They call six times a day and hang up immediately.
