A female caller pretended to be from Tesco Mobile, insisting my SIM needed replacement and a new one would be sent. She then asked for the email linked to my Tesco account; after I gave it, I immediately received password‑reset emails from my provider. Realised it was a scam and ended the call. My email password has now been changed. Still puzzled how she knew my number was with Tesco Mobile – perhaps an insider?
