Upon recieving a call from 150, EE, it became apparant they had shared my details with a company tradin as "Interact", which seems genuin. However, I expresed my concerns to EE regarding the unsolicted call and the potencial security risks, especally with regards to data-protection, and sugested a more secure method of verification.

Apparently, Intaract is a partner company of EE, they persistantly ring, so if you dont want any further contact from EE, it's advisible to block them.
The caller claimed to be from EE, but when questioned further, they admitted to being a partner or affiliate, rather than an official representative, which I find misleading and untrustworthy

This number keeps ringing, always when I'm busy, which is frustrating; it even rang my home phone, which I don’t share since I usually have my mobiles with me. Received 7 calls in the past 36 hours, now blocked as they are really annoying!
The caller, purporting to be from EE, asked for specific characters from my password, which raised significant security concerns and led me to question the legitimacy of the call.
After verifying the number on this site, I was cautious when EE called back, but the woman who called was pleasant and provided genuine account information, seeming legitimate and without sales pressure.
EE warned me that this number is a scam, they knew my first name, so be carefull
