This number is used by scammers from Domestic & General Insurance, who claimed I was eligible for a premium reduction, but hung up when I asked questions they couldn't answer.
A woman who seemed to know our address and surname claimed to have access to all UK insurance details and offered a discount on appliance insurance. We told her we had no new appliances. She was very pushy. We're on the TPS and mentioned it, but she denied being a cold caller. We pointed out that we hadn't requested the call, making it a cold call. She had an American accent. We've had similar calls before and suspect a data breach within the Euronics group.
After calling, the line connected to a call centre, but the caller didn't speak, prompting me to end the call.
