Posed as an 'energy supplier'—inquired about attic insulation. Asked for the company name, and he disconnected! In my view, anyone not stating their identity is a fraudster! And those who bail on simple queries are idiots!!
Energy scam calls – what to watch out for
Summary — +441915802805
Expert Opinion
If you get a call from +441915802805 and the person claims to be from your energy provider but won’t name the company, it’s almost certainly a scam. They often ask about loft insulation or your address, then hang up when you press for details. The safest move is to let the call go to voicemail, don’t engage, and block the number. Never share personal or payment information over the phone unless you’ve initiated the call yourself and can verify the caller’s identity. If you’re ever unsure, hang up and contact your actual utility directly using a known phone number.

Fraud—caller asserted he supplied energy for my postcode zone. I queried the area, but he dodged; soon he shifted to insulation talk, and when I repeated the question, he disconnected.
Missed call came in, followed by a scripted voicemail: “No agent available right now. This isn't urgent, so we'll ring back later. To stop future calls, dial (01792) 722056 and we'll remove you from our list. Thanks and bye…” I blocked immediately – why would I call them to make them stop calling? Blocked for good.
