Direct Response accident‑claim scams – how to stay safe!

Without answering, the number was checked on this site and subsequently blocked

I was asked about a car accident, but the converstation took a turn for the worse when I was subjected to a barrage of insults and inapropiate questions, includng if I was an inbred

The call from this number was hung up, and when redialed, it was unknown, with a Warrington area code.

The caller hung up the moment I picked up. Likely a scam attempt.

This caller is a nuisance.

I'm tired of receiving cold calls, so from now on, I'm declining any calls from unknown numbers.

Unsure who it was, but hung up immediately. Sounded like ambulance chasers from Liverpool. Blocked the number.

A person claiming to be James from Direct Response stated that I had been involved in an accident within the last two years.

Hard to understand the caller. She asked about car damage, got rude when I questioned her, and hung up when I asked to be removed from the list.

Upon answering, I warned the caller that this better be worth my time since I had just sat down for a meal. He proceeded to ask if I had experienced an accident in the past four years, which made me laugh, and I promptly told him to leave me alone before hanging up. Just as I started eating, he called back! I chose to ignore it again.

A company call me about a car accident, which is very suprising since i dont have a driving licence, i ask him to tell me more about the accident, and he hang up after sayin a bad word

Call was received but no message was left, thankfully, information on this site has enabled me to block the number
