I concur with the previous post. I partially completed an online survey on Facebook aiming to receive a "free" BA travel voucher, similar to a friend of mine. When the questions started getting too personal and irrelevant, I sensed it was a marketing scam. Since then, I've been bombarded with scam emails and unwanted calls. I've managed to block most emails and will block suspicious numbers

Following experinces with this number, it's advisible to block 01970217106 as it aparently thrives in Aberystwyth, Wales: seems to be a scam caller. Notably, I've had alot of nuisance calls & slam from various apprently bonefide numbers ever since filling in a Secret / Mystery Shopper survey application via Facebook, mimicking the guise of M & S type front cover, fortunately I didnt complete the process, but not before the essencial info wrt phone Nos etc had been entered. I have serious concers regarding such websites. Would strongly suggest extreem caution at providing any such details on line. Thank goodness this telephone number checking service exsists.

Lately, I've been getting calls from this number. Whenever I answer, no one responds. Does anyone know the proper authority to report such calls? I've heard of companies facing fines. Who is responsible for issuing those fines? I also get similar calls from different numbers and have searched for reporting options without success.

Similarly, I've noticed an increase in such calls since I started blocking these numbers, with nearly all area codes being problematic, particularly this one and the 0161 area code. It's unclear why this continues to happen or how to stop it. As someone who is currently ill and awaiting surgery, these harassing calls are exacerbating my health issues. I'm desperate for a solution to this problem.

Similar to previous experinces, I recieved numerous calls from these idiots regarding an online survey, which I have since blocked, and in my opinion, such harrasment should be illeagal, completly a scam.
