Tried to scam me with fake job
Scam callers posing as Three – how to protect yourself!

Expert Opinion
Imagine your phone rings and the voice claims to be from Three, EE or T‑Mobile, offering a brand‑new iPhone for a tiny monthly fee while demanding your card details. This pattern matches a classic phone‑based scam that mixes aggressive sales with identity‑theft tactics. Callers often switch numbers, pretend to be legitimate network providers and use high‑pressure scripts to bypass your scepticism. Never share personal or financial information with unsolicited callers, and hang up immediately if the offer sounds too good to be true. Register your number with the Telephone Preference Service, block the caller via your handset or provider, and report the incident to Action Fraud for further investigation.

Following a call from this number, 02033196462, I was offered a new phone, and after providing card details, I checked my bank to find a card check had been made, and although they only took 30p, I'm taking action to stop further fraudent payments, and have contacted my bank
Curiosity led me to answer the call. While on the line, I checked this website and inquired why she wasn't calling from a 3 network number. She couldn't provide a satisfactory answer or disclose their number, confirming it's a significant scam.

The caller claimed to be from the THREE mobile network, but I'm not convinced, so I've blocked the number.
Blocked after five calls in just one minute.
They claimed to be from Prime Energy, but it was clearly a scam, I'm not falling for it
Don’t answer. It’s a scam. A woman with a fake Asian accent claimed to be from a phone company. I hung up and blocked them instantly!
I have been recieving these calls on a daily basis, sometimes multiple times a day, I have never answered, however I do investigate the number, which is often described as dangerious, I block the numbers, but they seem to use a different one each time, I wish there was a way to completly eradicate these calls, I am considering contacting the autorities
I've blocked this number but they still manage to call me, it's really frustrating
Said they were from Tmobile, then Three, and finally EE....
This caller is impersonating an ee representative, using a false name and postcode to deceive
They tried to reach me while I was occupied. After seeing the comments here, I decided to block this number.
Having read the comments, I'm wary of answering this number, which has been calling me repeatedly.
This evening at 8.20, my landline rang. Given that my fax/phone is seldom used and has a very faint ringtone, I suspect this has likely occurred numerous times before. For this reason, I occasionally provide my landline number online instead of my mobile (even though I've registered with the telephone preference service, they continue to call!). Such numbers often reach my mobile, but I manage to block them!
After days of continuous calls, I finally answered, and the caller had my personal details, but when I laughed, they became aggressive, confirming my suspicion that it was a scam, so I advise others to be cautious and not visit any websites they recommend
This afternoon, I received a call asking for someone whose name starts with the same letter as mine. I responded that I didn't know anyone by that name and hung up, as the caller's tone was strange and I was expecting a proper introduction.
Today, I received a call from them; they somehow already had my email and asked about my iPhone model. I mentioned I had an iPhone 4 for £5 a month, anticipating an unrealistic offer, which they provided, suggesting a new iPhone for £20 a month. When I labelled them as scammers, they claimed to work for the 3 network and that they call from various numbers for complaints 😂.
I recieved a call on a saturday evening from scammers, who were barred, but i suspect they will try again with a different number, the number they provided for callback doesnt exist, which is puzzling
Originated from London and then went international.
A caller claimed to be from three and tried to sell my brother a phone deal for 20 pounds per month, they asked for card details, but when they requested the final 3 digits, I realised it was a scam
