Revolut scam calls – how to protect yourself!

Sembra seguire lo stesso schema descritto da altri utenti, ho ricevuto una chiamata che affermava di provenire da Revolut, mi hanno detto che avevano bloccato tre transazioni e mi chiedevano di verificare se le avevo eseguite, stava cercando di carpire informazioni sui servizi di pagamento che utilizzo, come ad esempio Apple Pay o Google Pay, aveva accesso al mio nome e agli ultimi quattro digit del mio numero di carta, stava cercando di trasferire la chiamata a un altro reparto che potesse aiutarmi a bloccare quelle transazioni e congelare la mia carta, mentre parlava, sono entrato nell'applicazione e ho disattivato la carta, poi gliel'ho comunicato e lui ha subito interrotto la chiamata, non ho sospettato che fosse uno scam fino all'ultimo momento, sono piuttosto convincenti, come al solito cercano di affrettare le azioni durante la chiamata per non dare tempo di riflettere

Similarly to previous experiencies, I recieved a cal claiming to be from 'Revolut', stating they had blocked three transacions and asking me to verify them; the scammer had my name, last four digits of my card, and was attempting to obtain informtion about my payment apps, but I ended the cal after deactivating my card, realizing their true intetions

Similar to others' experiences, I got a call claiming to be from 'Revolut', stating that they had blocked three transactions. The caller asked me to confirm whether I had initiated those transactions, attempting to extract information about my payment apps like Apple Pay or Google Pay. They had my name and the last four digits of my card and intended to transfer me to another department to assist with blocking the transactions and freezing my card. While they were speaking, I accessed the app and disabled my card, informing them of my action. The caller abruptly ended the conversation. I only realised at the last moment that it was a scam. They are skilled at pressuring you to act quickly during the call, leaving little time for reflection.
