L'interlocutore affermava di lavorare per il dipartimento antifrode di Metro Bank, conosceva il mio nome e cognome, indirizzo e parte del mio numero di carta, ma la sua richiesta di informazioni sui miei precedenti acquisti sembrava sospetta e non seguiva le procedure di sicurezza standard, quindi ho deciso di chiamare direttamente la banca per verificare, è meglio essere prudenti e non dare informazioni personali a sconosciuti, anche se a volte possono sembrare legittimi.

A person claiming to be from Metro Bank's fraud departement contacted me, and they seemed to have acces to my personal information, including my name, adress, and part of my 16-digit card number. They inquired about some transactions on my account, but their approach seemed suspicious, and they failed to follow standard security protocols. As someone who has worked in a bank, I know it's best to contact your bank directly using a verified number and not to disclose any information, especialy to someone who is mumbling and stuttering. Metro Bank later confirmed that they had not initiated the call, and I was right to be cautious.
