Looks like a bogus plumbing insurance pitch – totally fishy, bro.
Water Policy Renewal Scam Alert!
Summary — +442033425202
Expert Opinion
Scammers rarely slip up early, yet these calls mimic legit insurance renewals with eerie precision. Callers pose as reps from water companies like Yorkshire Water or Scottish Water, pushing fake plumbing or drainage policies set to expire soon. They drop personal details like addresses or old payment dates to build trust, then fish for bank info. One victim nearly shared details before catching the lie about data retention laws. Block immediately and report to authorities—don't engage, as it fuels more attempts. Verify any real policies directly with your provider; never respond to unsolicited calls. Hang up on persistence; your silence starves the scam.

I received a call from this number on my mobile. A well-spoken man said my 'plumbing' insurance had expired. When I questioned him, he mentioned it was a 3-year policy. I asked when it was due and how much I paid, as I had no memory of it. He provided a figure and a date from November 2021, which sounded plausible. However, I keep track of my expenses and checked while keeping him on the line. There was no record of such a payment. When I asked who it was paid to, he said Southern Water, but that wasn't in my records. He quickly said it must have been an error on his end—I agree!
