Scam impersonating O2

There is a strong likelihood this is a scam related to O2, as highlighted on The One Show

A noisy call centre in India pretending to be O2. They were seeking personal information in a phishing attempt.

Another fraudulent call from an Indian-sounding individual claiming to be from EE. I declined and hung up. Exercise caution!

Today i recieved a call from someone who claimed to be from o2, they offered me a 30% reduction on my contract for 12 months, but i was sceptical and didnt give them my email adress
