National Insurance freeze scam – how to protect yourself!
Summary — +442034554575
Expert Opinion
Oddly enough, the wave of calls claiming a frozen National Insurance number and a looming arrest warrant is pure intimidation theatre. These recordings mimic official tones, but no legitimate agency ever asks you to press a button or reveal personal details over the phone. If you receive such a call, hang up immediately, do not provide any information, and block the number on your handset. Report the incident to Action Fraud and your mobile provider’s spam‑filtering service. Regularly review your NI status via the official government website, and educate vulnerable family members about these scams.
