The caller addressed me by name, claiming to be from Flow Energy about solar panel servicing. They mentioned an annual service agreement from 2012, but I knew it was a scam since we've never had such an agreement. I suspected it from the start due to similar solar panel scams.
Energy Scam Tactics Revealed

Expert Opinion
Calls from this number often masquerade as legitimate energy firms, peddling bogus services for solar panels, insulation, or heat pumps. Scammers pose as reps from companies like Flow Energy or Glow Energy, citing government schemes or past installations to hook you in—yet they hang up when questioned or pressed for details. One outlier praised a helpful chat about cavity wall insulation, but the overwhelming pattern screams fraudulent tactics. Persistent ringing, rudeness, and targeting deceased persons or TPS-registered lines seal the deal. Hang up immediately on unsolicited energy pitches; verify any claims directly with official sources like Ofgem. Block the number and report to Action Fraud to curb these nuisances.

Sophie called from 020 3479 2173, initially mentioning the solar system before correcting herself to solar panels. She sounded British, which annoyed me more than if it had been an overseas call. She claimed to be from Throw Energy (spelt like Flo Energy) in Cornwall but refused to provide a postcode, despite calling from a London number. When I mentioned my father’s TPS membership, she became aggressive and rude, so I ended the call.

No message was left when i didnt answer, so it must be a scam or spam, alot of peoples get these kinds of calls.
This experience was unsettling, as a representative from a supposed company called Glow Energy, claiming to be Harry, inquired about solar panels efficiency checks. After informing him that the checks had already been done, he abruptly ended the call when asked to remove the number from their records. The absence of any information about this company raises suspicions of a potential scam.
