Twice I received a call after office hours at 8.05pm. Fortunately, my signal was poor. After doing some research online, it appears to be a scam. Therefore, I chose not to answer. Grateful for this site.
After receiving an email from Expedia claiming my hotel was closed, this number called. I contacted the hotel, and they confirmed it's open. This is an attempt to trick you into changing your booking. Beware, it's a scam!

They claimed to represent Expedia. A swift tweet to their official account confirmed that this number does not belong to them.
Supposedly Expedia called to adjust my booking details, placed me on hold, and then disconnected after five minutes. The poor line quality made me sceptical, yet they were aware of my email inquiry.

This number appears to belong to Expedia, with whom I have booked flights and received a follow-up call to solicit feedback on their service, which I found to be efficient and satisfactory
Following several occassions of recieving calls from this number, it's become aparent they dont leave voicemails. They persistantly ring every 20 mins, which has put me off using expedia in the future due to this experiance.
Avoid booking with Expedia. They called at 8:30 AM, 7:45 AM, and 1 AM despite us being in the UK. Their response was about non-business hours and an apology.
