Fortunately, it was a silent call, judging by previous comments, that was a lucky escape.
I questioned how they knew so much about me, which was unsettling. After letting him ramble, I thanked him and said I’d traced the call, revealing he wasn’t from the 'credit investigation department'. He hung up right away.

An Indian caller named Mike (or so he said) contacted me again. I've had these calls before. He pretended to be from CAB, which is not true. He argued that I had entered a voluntary agreement with my creditors and wanted to discuss an IVA. I told him I hadn’t and instructed him to remove my number from his list. I hung up, but he called back, demanding to know why I hung up. After exchanging a few harsh words, I blocked him. What a cheeky individual!
