I searched for 'Wise contact number' on google to secure my account and alert them to potential fraud, and this number came up, but it was a scam, they asked for my personal details and then said there was no unusual activity on my account
Wise scam calls – how to spot the fakes?
Summary — +442036950999
Expert Opinion
Earlier this week, a number beginning with 020 3695 0999 started ringing for many users, claiming to be Wise support. The callers routinely request personal data, verification codes and even payment authorisations, then disappear once the information is handed over. This pattern matches a classic phishing scam targeting customers of the online money‑transfer service. Never share your full name, address, date of birth or bank details with an unsolicited caller, and definitely do not provide any security code they ask you to read out. If you doubt a call, hang up, contact Wise through the official app or website, and report the number to the relevant fraud‑watch agencies.

I discovered this number on pissedconsumer.com, which claimed it was Wise customer service, but it seems like pissedconsumer.com is quite dangerus
A scammer, posing as a Wise representative, claimed they had flagged a transfer of £1000 and requested my email and card details. I immediately recognised it as a scam, given that I hadn't received any emails from Wise. The scammer, who had a perfect British accent, asked me to share a code with him, but I refused to play along. Instead, we toyed with him until he became angry and hung up, insulting us in the process. A crucial lesson learned: never share codes sent by suspicious callers.
Scam attempt reported
Apparently, this scammer is quite clever, claiming to have blocked a suspisous payment, but its all a ruse.
This caller, posing as a representative from Wisebank, somehow knew my name and address
Pretending to be from my bank, said they know about the fraudulent transfers, tried to get me to give them details of my other bank accounts
Feedback is negative
This is definitely a scam, avoid at all costs. They seem credible initially but then demand excessive personal information.
Someone from this number pretended to be from Wise Bank, seeking a verification code. When I hesitated, they claimed they already had access. The caller had an Asian British accent, poor connection, and was rude. Refused to transfer to a manager and hung up when I insisted.
They masqueraded as Wise. I mistakenly provided them with my address and membership number. 😟
Jeg svarede ikke på et kort nummer fra London, og kort tid efter modtog jeg et opkald fra en ukendt ID.

London number ignored
This is undoubtedly a scam, as they claimed to be from Revolut, stating my account had been compromised via a parcel delivery message. Although convincing, I strongly advise against trusting them.
A company claiming to be 'Wise Bank' contacted me about a pending payment, I followed their authorisation process, but then cancelled the transaction after contacting Hermes Paris, what a waste of their time, be carefull of these scammers, contack your bank immediatly
Pretending to be EE, they offered me a 50% discount, but I had to confirm my email adress, and the caller had a very strong Indian acsent, which made me suspisous of a posible fraud
This number has been linked to substantial fraud on my account. Individuals impersonating my bank contacted me and became abusive when questioned. Absolutely fraudulent activity.
