Kontofx Bitcoin scam – how to stop the calls!
Summary — +442039745126
Expert Opinion
Clearly, this number is tied to a cryptocurrency scam operation. Callers repeatedly claim you have an account or a pending bitcoin trade, often using fabricated company names like Kontofx and posing as mobile providers. They request personal details or urge you to send money to “activate” an account – a classic identity theft ploy. The safest response is to hang up, never disclose passwords, bank details or ID documents, and add the number to your phone’s call blocking list. Report the incident to Action Fraud and share the experience on consumer forums to warn others. Regularly review your credit reports for unauthorised activity.

This number belongs to Kontofx in Hungary, a bitcoin scam operation involved in identity theft through documents you submit to validate a fraudulent account. They make no return on the deposits they request. It's a vile scam; I block these numbers and report them daily as they frequently change. They often use other numbers too, and the call centre is non-English speaking! Enough said!
