They sound like an overseas call centre, even calling on weekends to disguise a sales pitch. When uou finally asked them to stop and hung up, they rang again several times, cutting the call as soon as I answered.

A call came to my landline, and a man with a heavy Asian accent claimed I’d been overcharged for my landline and internet over recent months. When I asked which provider it was and got no answer, I realised it was a scam, told him not to call again and called him a scammer before hanging up.

An alleged BT call centre from India, clearly fraudulent.
The caller pretended to be from an energy supplier, warned me not to return the call, yet rang back five more times.
Someone pretended to be from Octopus Energy, asked for a meter reading and said I was owed a refund; as I’m not a customer, I think it’s a scam.
Uncertain whether it was National Grid, they seemed to be requesting a meter reading.
