A woman called, pretending to be from my phone provider, and offered a significant discount. After discussing security verification, I asked her to confirm my name first, which she couldn’t do. This is a scam; avoid sharing any personal information. Impersonating Three network.
Clearly a scam, this number claimed to represent Three but their intentions were far from genuine. After seven calls, I finally answered, only to be met with a barrage of typical scam tactics, including a request for my payment details. I swiftly ended the call and blocked the number.
Apparently, the caller claimed to be from Three, albeit their accent was hard to decipher, afterwards they informed me i was overpaying on my contract, then had the audacity to ask what my current payment was, i told them if they were really from three they should already know this, so i hung up.
