Following a missed call from this number, I contacted the fraud department and they confirmed that it was indeed Capital One, as someone had attempted to use my card on Amazon, prompting them to lock it.

Apparently it is Capital One, dont go blocking legit numbers or you will miss important calls, thats just stupid and scammers will be pleased

I had a genuin call from Capital One, they were doing a fraud check on my card because some transactions had flagged up as fraudulent, it was all legit
