Starling Bank scam calls – how to protect yourself!

Posed as a representative from Starling, asking me to log in and approve a refund to my account

Fortunately, i narrowly escape this scam, wich nearly cost me £4k, dont trust them, they will try to explaine why the number is difrent from the one on your card

A call was made claiming to be from Starling bank's fraud department, but it seemed convincing until they requested authorization for a payment to the post office, which didn't make sense, so I hung up and contacted Starling bank directly to verify.

This phone number is a fraudester who claim to be from Starling Bank.

A call was received from individuals pretending to be Monzo's Fraud team, but the Monzo app's real-time verification feature confirmed it to be a scam, resulting in a fraud report being filed and the number being blocked.

This caller has been identified as a scammer, making repeated calls while pretending to represent the fraud department of a bank, with a phone number closely resembling that of the actual bank, and attempted to initiate a lengthy process to allegedly verify information.

This is clearly a scam, as they pretended to be from Starling Bank and asked for an Apple Pay code before being blocked
