I received a call from someone claiming to be a ‘local energy adviser’ asking if I owned the property. It felt dodgy, as if they wanted to push an unnecessary service, so I blocked them.
None was left; I blocked the caller.
There was silence at first; after three of my "Hello"s, someone answered, saying, "Hello, I'm Jo, one of your local energy advisors covering your area, are you the homeowner?" I hung up.
Nothing was left, so I just dismissed it.
I got another call from a woman who started, "I'm Jo, one of your local energy advisors covering your area, are you the homeowner?" After I answered yes and mentioned it was the sixth call, she hung up straight away—clearly a scam.

That individual is a criminal, and like any similar nuisance call, I’ve lodged a report with the police.

The line was silent; this number keeps calling often.
