They rang twice, the second time an indian woman claimed to be from EE, asking me to confirm my details, but I'm not even with EE!

Received a call from someone with an Indian accent claiming to be from EE, offering to reduce my bills or provide an iPhone 16 for £500. The scam sounded believable at first, lasting about five minutes. I provided my name and address but grew suspicious as the conversation continued. I searched the number online and found this forum. I ended the call and blocked the number. They rang again a couple of minutes later, this time ending in 4572 instead of 4571. Fortunately, I’m moving soon, so I’m not too concerned about my details being shared. Honestly, these scammers should find something more worthwhile to do.

This is clearly a scam, and I find it entertaining to play along with these scammers; however, when I mentioned that the caller ID indicated a scammer, the call was abruptly ended.

After my father passed away recently, I’ve had to share my mobile number with various professionals, and now I’m overwhelmed with fraudulent calls. They likely assume I’m my late father’s spouse. Stay vigilant and don’t fall for these tricks.
