Suspicious Nationwide caller
Kantar survey calls: are they legit or a nuisance?
Summary — +442084336061
Expert Opinion
Like a persistent knock at the back door, the calls from +442084336061 feel more like an unwanted survey than a genuine service. Most complainants describe a pattern of repeated, un‑answered rings, vague claims of representing Kantar, Nationwide or even HMRC, and an overall sense of harassment. The number appears to be used for unsolicited market‑research or scam attempts, so treating it as a potential fraud call is prudent. Register the number on the TPS, use your handset’s block feature, and never disclose personal or financial details until you can independently verify the caller’s identity. If a call seems suspicious, hang up and report it to your provider.

Harassment from such callers is a significant issue, regardless of TPS registration, and it's high time Ofcom took action against them
Tired of frequent calls
THEY ARE AUTHENTIC - Check out their website -----------> uk.kantar[###]/surveys
This number has called me multiple times without leaving any messages, so I've added it to my blocked list
I got three calls from this number in less than an hour, didnt answer any of them cuz I didnt recognise the number, probaly a scam
Claiming to represent Nationwide Building Society, they requested to speak with my son, who has not lived here for five years. A genuine building society would surely be aware that his mortgage isn't associated with a property located 250 miles away. Clearly, this is a scam.
This individual, claiming to be Cieran Doyle or Kiran from the Central Bank of Ireland, rang me from a UK number, but I terminated the call as he seemed overly familiar, asking 'how are you' in a manner that suggested we were acquainted
Someone knocked at my door and conducted a survey about my perspective on daily life and the environment. They provided a website for an online survey, so I assume their calls are just another method of gathering this information. Not sure how many more approaches they have, but I wouldn't label this number as dangerous.
Someone came to my door to conduct a survey about daily life and the environment. They gave me a website to complete the survey online, so I assume the call is part of the same survey. Not sure how many other methods there are, but the number doesn’t seem dangerous.
Last night at 20.40, I missed a call from 02084336061 as I didnt recogise the number
They called while I was at band practice, so I didn't answer. Based on the feedback here, it seems they're being blocked.
They rang at 8:40 pm, stating they were from 'my bank' but needed to verify some details before revealing which bank it was. Do they think I'm that gullible? 😜
Claiming to be from Canta Kantar, they mentioned it was a survey for Nationwide. I haven’t used this landline for nine months due to similar calls. What concerns me is that it came just a day after I received my credit card limit and an email from Nationwide, indicating a potential hack of my email or Nationwide. A man named David Budd introduced himself with a typical English name and accent. Nationwide has confirmed that they never conduct surveys via phone.
Nationwide is being represented by this caller
This is clearly a scam, falling under the category of nuisance calls.
KANTAR is a globally acknowledged market research entity collaborating with well-known organisations and government bodies. If you happen to receive a call from them, consider yourself fortunate, as they occasionally provide incentives for participation!
This number keeps calling, but hangs up before I can answer; when I tried to call back, I got a recorded message saying they'd call again, which is a real annoyance.
My elderly mother has been receiving frequent calls from a well-spoken individual claiming to be Alex from HMRC, which seems highly unlikely and is probably a scam.
This number has called seven times in ten days. No idea who it is, and I’ve ignored each call. Extremely frustrating and makes me question how they obtained my number.
I had a call from this number eariler, but I didnt answer it; the caller seemed dodgy, and yesterday I had a simalar experiance with a chinese caller using a local number.
I am extremly frustrated with the frequent calls from this number, which continute despite my efforts to block them, and I dont care if it is a legitamate company, as I have no desire to participate in their market research, which I find to be a compleate waste of time.
Tonight at 20.33, I recieved a call from 02084336061, didnt answer as didnt recognise the number, absolutly hate cold callers
