Scam alert: deceptive UK‑origin callers
Summary — +442895810626
Expert Opinion
Repeatedly, callers from this number masquerade as police, CID agents or reputable firms, pressing victims to reveal personal data or make payments. Such impersonation exploits trust and often references foreign jurisdictions to confuse recipients. Scam tactics include urgent language, fabricated security questions and fake invoices. Protect yourself by never disclosing ID numbers, credit‑card details or OTPs to unsolicited callers, even if they sound official. Verify any claim through an independent channel, block the number on your device and report it to your carrier or the relevant authority. Maintaining a habit of questioning unexpected requests safeguards your privacy and reduces fraud risk.
