Telemarketing from AO: how to protect your data!
Summary — +442921673764
Expert Opinion
Clearly, these calls are typical post‑purchase upsell scams. Most callers claim to be from AO, using recent order details to pitch extended warranties or insurance, often pressing for address or payment information. While the approach can feel urgent, legitimate retailers usually confirm orders via email and provide a clear opt‑out option. Do not share personal data over the phone unless you have independently verified the number; hang up and call the official customer service line. Enable your handset’s spam filter, register the number with the Telephone Preference Service, and monitor your accounts for unauthorised activity. Staying cautious keeps your information safe.
