XLN Telecom calls – how to stop them!
Summary — +443300948779
Expert Opinion
Ever wonder why your business line is flooded with calls from a vague telecom operator? These outbound pitches often masquerade as service upgrades, targeting the supposed business owner to pressure a switch. Since the caller cannot verify your identity, treat any unsolicited request for account details as suspicious. Register your number with the Telephone Preference Service, enable carrier‑level call‑blocking, and consider a third‑party screening app. When a call demands immediate action, hang up and verify the company independently via official channels. Report persistent offenders to Ofcom and keep a log of timestamps to aid any future investigation.

At 8am today, my landline received a call from this number, but no one was on the other end; I'm fed up with these nuisance calls, which keep coming from different numbers even after I block them.

The caller sought the business owner, but it was a sales pitch for a business phone line. Calls often end abruptly when I state the owner isn’t available. This is a persistent nuisance requiring blocking.
Just received a call. She spoke quickly, making it difficult to comprehend her words, but it seemed she was trying to sell business space in a directory for my business that closed eight years ago. I told her she was a filthy crook and f#### off. I hung up and have now blocked her.
Just received a call. The speaker talked rapidly, making it hard to comprehend, but I gathered she was trying to sell business space in a directory for my business that shut down eight years ago. I told her she was a filthy crook before hanging up and blocking her.
The call came through, but I chose not to answer, as I do with any unfamiliar number. Unsurprisingly, my suspicions were confirmed here. Blocked the number, though they’ll likely try again with a different one. Isn’t there a way to stop these calls?
utter nonsense
This is the latest number for XLN telecoms. They're unhelpful, disrespectful, and I suspect it's a scam. They keep calling and ignoring my requests to remove my details. The last caller claimed to be 'Steve'. Now blocked.
Appears to be a call centre. They inquired about the business owner, and upon learning they were unavailable, simply hung up. Now blocked :-)
The call was an offer from a telecom company, which proved to be a waste of time
As others have mentioned, they’re pushing you ("the business owner") to switch to their telecoms service... but they don’t even bother asking properly—they just assume you’ll change.
a silent voicemail lasting over a minute was left by this number
Upon answering, there was an initial pause before they asked for the business owner, and after being informed the owner was unavailable, they hung up.
A man with an Indian accent, claiming to be from XLN Telecom, asked for the owner of the buisness and then promissed a 20% drop in costs, which made me very nervus
Silence and time wasting
