Never share personal or financial details with unknown callers, especially when they refuse to identify themselves. Following a call from this number to my TPS-registered mobile, I chose not to engage, and the caller promptly ended the call without speaking; subsequently, I have added it to my blacklist, suspecting scam activity based on feedback from others.

The caller was fishing for PPI business, prompting me to hang up immediately.
A debt collector called, asking for Neil, and it is believed this is related to the previous owner of the phone, who had the number over three years ago

The frequency of calls from this number is alarming. It's disappointing that mobile phone companies are allowed to sell numbers to such persistent callers, but fortunately, my home phone has call barring, limiting the disturbance to my mobile.
This morning, my mobile recived a call from this number, which I didn't recognize, so I didn't answer, and have now added it to my blocked list, due to the sheer amount of similair calls.
