Expert Opinion
Under a grey London sky this afternoon, reports of calls from this number paint a picture of persistent nuisance tactics. Callers often pose as housing or utility reps, probing about fictional issues like damp or disrepair to hook you in, or pivoting to sales pitches for solar panels before abruptly hanging up. Scam alerts abound, with automated voices and mismatched details screaming fraud. Don't engage—block the number straight away and report to Ofcom if it persists. Hang up on unsolicited queries; verifying through official channels keeps you safe from these telemarketing pests. Staying vigilant wards off the hassle.

This is obviously a scam call
The caller claimed to be Sarah from the housing department, inquiring about damp issues in my flat, despite me living in a house, which led me to believe it was a scam
Since the number was unfamiliar, I didn't answer, assuming it was likely a spam call.
As a precaution, I refrain from answering unknown numbers due to trust concerns.
This experience has left me wary, as the caller claiming to be Simon from a utility firm asked about my day before abruptly hanging up, which seems like a probable scam, so I've blocked the number
I usualy dont answer unknown number's but i answer this one and it was a guy trying to sell me solar panel's, when i say i live in a flat he just put the phone down
