Block the number straight away and log it with Action Fraud to curb the hassle. If they ring again, don't engage—just hang up and report. Staying firm keeps these nuisances at bay.
Called 20 times within half an hour even though I didn't pick up. After I ended it, they immediately dialled back at least 15 more times. No idea who they are, but that's outrageous conduct

A woman with an English accent called, inquiring about any damp issues in our home and mentioning her firm does housing fixes (or similar). I asked why she was contacting me and if she knew my name (seemed not). Then she mentioned targeting social housing residents, though we're homeowners—obvious falsehoods.
Housing repairs rep named Sara phoned regarding my accommodation issues. Inquired which problem, and she ended the call.
Absolutely sick of these callers—find honest work and show some self-respect.
