Over the last few weeks, I've been getting plenty of these calls, mostly around lunchtime, and they frequently hang up before I can respond - seems like they're dialling several lines simultaneously. Now I wait a bit before picking up and check the number. We're up in the Scottish Highlands and these are coming in every day at the moment!!

At one point, OVO was a top-notch small energy supplier. But they've expanded too much and are now hiring subpar third-party contractors. I'm still baffled by the operations of these firms. They neither generate electricity nor supply gas, nor do they transport it via cables or pipelines. Maintenance of those lines and pipes isn't their job either. All they do is gather payments from us, skim their share, and hand the remainder to the actual producers and distributors.
Debt collectors for OVO Energy... Frustrated as I stopped the direct debit since they arbitrarily deducted amounts from my account each month... Invoice me and I'll settle it; you're not my bank and I refuse to let you hold my funds.

Got 3 rings from this number over 2 days, initial two said they were from OVO energy, the final one silent. The first seemed to know I'd updated my OVO payment. Male with Indian accent & disconnected. Second had a more Korean tone, insisting on security check first. I questioned the reason for calling again and she ended it. This morning's third was silent despite background sounds. Suspect they possess some OVO data on me, suggesting OVO might be breached or an insider leaking info. Planning to switch providers due to possible hack or this annoyance.

Received a call from OVO Energy regarding an account I don’t hold.
I recieved a call from someone who claimed to be from OVO, they wanted me to confirm my surname, i asked how i knew it was real and she said my account was in credit and i had a direct debit, she then said thank you and hung up, i dont think it was genuine but she seemed to know my name and details, i wouldnt give her any informations.
