I'm getting very concernd about this number, as I've recieved four calls in the past week mentioning a transaction I didn't make.
After calling the number on the back of my debit card and speaking with the fraud department, I was informed that the call I received was not from the Barclays team, which is why I hung up.
The fraud team from Barclays reached out. They were authentic and seemed aware of every transaction I completed that day.
This number has been calling me multiple times over the past 3 days. Both my landline and mobile have been flooded with calls claiming to be from Barclays about potential fraud on my account. They ask me to press a button on my phone to assist. I haven’t done that and won’t answer if I see their number again.
Received robocall about suspicious payment, no record found in accounts, seems fishy

After verifying with Barclays Bank using a different phone number, I confirmed that the automated call from this number was genuinely from their fraud department.

Following the theft of my card details, Barclays promptly stopped the fraudulent transactions; however, we then received calls from individuals claiming to be from the Barclays fraud team, which proved to be false, as confirmed by Barclays when I contacted them on their official number, 03457 345345.
I recieved a call from someone claiming to be from the Barclays Fraud Department, they were verifying some transactions my husband had made, it seemed legit, but you can never be too careful!
