Expert Opinion
It appears that the caller, purportedly from an energy team, has been making numerous attempts to contact individuals, often addressing them by name, to discuss their energy tariffs or offer deals, which has raised significant suspicions among the recipients. The callers' behaviour, including evasive responses to questions, disjointed conversations, and refusal to provide credentials, has led many to believe that these calls are likely scams. The fact that some calls were silent or featured computer-generated voices further supports this theory. In light of these findings, it is essential for those receiving such calls to exercise caution and not disclose any personal details, instead opting to block the number and report any suspicious activity to the relevant authorities.
