Even if the caller claims to be from British Gas, their accent is difficult to understand and they are calling from a busy call center, asking me to install a new meter and referencing issues with my current smart meter, which I do not have, and they seem to have access to my name and postcode, which is publicly available, so I would prefer it if they contacted me via email.
Within 24 hours, I received three calls from this number on my landline
