They presented themselves as British Gas, but the connection was full of hiss and static, making it almost impossible to hear. I caught a fragment about potential bill savings, but the remainder was unintelligible. Since all my personal calls are crystal clear, I suspect the call was routed from abroad, causing the poor audio.
They claim to be from British Gas, the line quality is very poor, alot of hissing and static, they said they could save me money on my bills but I couldnt hear the rest, I suspect this call is originating from outside the UK

I recieved a call to my landline on tuesday 16 may 23, the caller asked for me by name and started talking about British Gas Homecare, I told them I wasnt interested, afterwards I recieved a call from 01183150367 with a recorded message asking for a feedback rating
A ring at 09:14 on Tuesday 16 May 2023 named me and launched a lengthy pitch about British Gas Homecare. When I finally interjected, I declined interest. About half an hour later, a call from 01183150367 delivered a recorded request for a feedback rating. I have lodged a separate complaint.
A person purporting to be from British Gas asked if I was satisfied with a recent boiler service, correctly naming the date. They attempted to set an appointment with a heating adviser, which I refused, and they promptly hung up.
