Following two consecutive calls, i didn't bother answering either, and they rang for a long time. After reading the comments here, i'm glad i didn't pick up. I only answer calls from recognisable numbers.
Multiple missed calls came from this number. When I finally picked up, the caller claimed to be from Dell but mentioned he wasn't trying to sell anything. I couldn't figure out the purpose of his call. He stated he had an email for me, but it was nothing like our actual email format. Quite odd and troubling.

Claiming to represent Dell, the caller insisted on speaking to our Managing Director. Upon being questioned about the purpose of the call, they turned hostile, questioning my position as an employee. After revealing I was the MD and refusing to engage with such rudeness, I ended the call. They later called back, instructing to leave a message for an extension.
