Expert Opinion
Scammers often pose as reps from Three to trick folks into sharing personal details like emails or postcodes. Genuine Three calls would come with proper verification, such as texts from 'Three UK', not dodgy lookalikes. Reports highlight relentless ringing, up to daily for weeks, with callers pushing upgrades or probing for info—classic scam tactics. Block the number straight away and never divulge anything; if in doubt, ring Three directly on their official line. Hang up on unsolicited requests for verification, and report to authorities to curb these nuisances. Staying vigilant keeps your data safe from these persistent pests.

Four calls this week. Clearly a scam – genuine Three contacts would only text from "from three" with no extra content.
When they called, they immediately asked for my email and postcode even though I hadn’t dialed them. Never share details; a legitimate caller will explain why they’re contacting you, not the reverse. Note the number is almost identical – only the last two digits differ (77 instead of 01) – and the text appeared to come from “Three UK” rather than “From Three”. They also mentioned an email I never received. In short, don’t give them any information.
Originates from an Indian scam centre that called daily for a month. When I finally answered for a laugh, the operator mispronounced my dad's name and tried to prove legitimacy by texting from a fake "Three" number. Advice: don’t share details and make them look foolish if you answer.
An Indian woman called and tried to scam me.
They’re pretending to be Three, trying to push an upgrade every day for the past three weeks.

After checking early upgrade options with Three, this number has been calling me nonstop despite telling them I'm not interested.
Probably a scam – stay clear of it.
Definitely Three contacting me about phone upgrades, but they relentlessly push unwanted products while rattling off a terrible script.
Likely fraudulent
There are many spam calls posing as Three – do not answer or share any information.
That number has called me twenty‑seven times; I never answer, and I've heard others being asked for personal details—should be blocked.
Beware – this appears to be a Three scam.
I got a call each day for five consecutive days.
A telephone scam.
Over the past three months this number rang several times; when I answered, the caller claimed to be from Three, didn’t know my name and asked for my DOB. I hung up, called Three, and was told no such calls were made. Block it and give no details.
