Lowell debt collector calls: how to stop the harassment

Looks like a genuine Lowell attempt, yet they're pursuing a debt that's over twelve years old—clearly aware of the legal limits.

I’ve never heard of Lowell debt collectors, have no debts, and have blocked them after no response.

The device is only meant for emergencies, yet I receive texts about Mrs Joan L Watts—even though the owner is deceased. Claims that it’s merely Lowell debt collection are false; Lowell doesn’t operate that way. This appears to be a scam.

Multiple calls came from this number; perhaps they’re genuine debt collectors, yet they left voicemails for two people I don’t know, so I won’t return.

I received roughly twenty calls from these scammers and never answered. It reeks of phishing, and even if it were a legitimate debt, they have no right to harass me by phone—legal channels must be followed. They’re outright criminals and should be permanently incarcerated.

Lowell messages are consistently problematic, and this number's calls, which I've received twice, are a prime example of a scam; they even got my name wrong, the incompetent individuals.

After some investigation, it turns out this number belongs to a debt collection agency. I have no debts and maintain a strong credit score, with no outstanding payments. Clearly, this is a scam. If this number keeps calling you, I recommend checking your credit rating. I haven't answered their calls and won't do so now that I’ve verified the situation.

Lowell Financial is a legitimate company, yet I have blocked their number due to the frequent calls. I have an agreement in place with them, but they continue to pressure me to increase my payments – they should be grateful for what they receive!
