Despite having settled the final bill from Eon shortly after selling my property in November 2023, I am being pursued by LCS, who claim I owe a debt related to an unfamiliar account number; they have been unable to provide a copy of the outstanding bill.

I havn't recieved a call but have gotten 3 letters from this company asking for £1390, a debt to eon which I had allready payed, they are offering a 30% discount now but I dont no how they can get away with it

I recieved a message saying I owe money to EON, but I'm not even a customer, they asked for my details and I made the mistake of sharing them, now I'm just ignoring them.
A message was left by someone claiming to be from LCS, apparently they are a debt collection agency that deals with HMRC, I searched the number and found this out. I dont owe anyone money, especally not HMRC, the caller left a reference number for me, so I rang them back, they asked for my name and then they wanted my postal adress, which I didnt give them. I rang off immediatly, not giving my details to anyone.
