Lloyds Bank spoof calls—how to protect yourself?

The caller claimed to be from Lloyds Bank, stating there was nothing to worry about, but when I refused to provide my name, they became evasive, which raises suspicions - a genuine bank would not make unsolicited calls

Pretending to be from NatWest, they claimed my account was compromized, adresssed me by my first name and continuted to call back untill I blocked the number, definatly a scam

I am pretty shure this was a scam call, they claimed to be from Lloyds and asked for my bank account information but they couldnt verify that they was actualy Lloyds

Definitely a scam. When I threatened to hang up and call the number on my card, the person became agitated and demanding. If you're unsure about a call, contact the company directly using a verified number. Don't trust the number the caller provides. Scammers are everywhere.

This number is on Lloyds website, but i recieved a call from them claiming to be from Lloyds, after i told them i didnt request an activation code, they sounded genuin until they asked me to reconfirm my device and send me a link to log into my online banking, which is a bit suspisous

I received a suspicious text message asking if I had made a purchase, and after responding that I had not, I was contacted by this number, which attempted to set up an online banking account, a clear scam.

I recieved a text message today asking if a code was mine, i said no, then they rang me, wanted my details, but i didnt give them any, said someone had used the mobile app, which i dont have, because i've been scammed before, so i put the phone down and blocked the number.

Received a letter from 'Lloyd's bank' regarding a business account that I do not possess. This number was included in the correspondence. It contained a form requesting my sort code, bank account information, signature, and to create a secret word. An SAE was provided for my response. Interestingly, I had just been on the phone with another bank on the same day to do something similar... clearly a scam and a breach of security.

A notification appeared on my messaging app claiming they require additional details to process my bereavement request! I haven't lost anyone recently. Perhaps it's a potential hit-man looking for work!!

Today, I received a letter from Lloyds Bank stating that someone had attempted to access my account.

Today, I got two unexpected texts from this number; the first acknowledged receipt of a Mandate request with a promise to update me on the application status, and the second, sent 10 minutes later, claimed the request was complete, which is puzzling since I don't have a TSB account and hadn't initiated any contact.
