Summary — +443456002290
Expert Opinion
Oddly enough, many recipients of +443456002290 report an eerily authentic HSBC‑style voice, yet the calls consistently request personal banking details. This pattern points to a spoofed number used by fraudsters to mimic the bank’s fraud department. If you receive such a call, do not share any sort codes, passwords, or personal data. Hang up immediately and contact HSBC using the official number printed on your card or statement. Block the offending number on your device and report the incident to Action Fraud or your bank’s genuine fraud team. Staying vigilant and confirming the caller through trusted channels can thwart these scam attempts.

Obviously, this bank has alot to answer for, diverting calls to scammer, wont be using this bank no more, whats the point of having a bank if they cant even protect they customers
The number is actually from HSBC, but people spoof it to make it look like they are calling from HSBC, so if you recieve a call, its a scam, but if you call it, its not
A caller claimed to be from HSBC fraud. The voice sounded very insincere. When I expressed my doubts about their authenticity, they provided no other means to address the potential fraudulent transactions on my account. I called the number back, and it was an automated message requesting HSBC bank details!!! I reported this to the real HSBC fraud team.
Although the caller claimed to represent HSBC's fraud department and appeared to be calling from a genuine HSBC number, this is a tactic used by scammers; they attempted to elicit login information by claiming unusual direct debits were being set up, but their persistence and reluctance to allow a callback verified it as a scam, later confirmed by the actual fraud department.
A caller pretending to be from HSBC fraud mentioned direct debit attempts. When I asked for a callback number, they couldn't provide one, which made me suspicious. They tried to get my login details but stopped when I excused myself. Later, I contacted HSBC and confirmed it was a scam. Now, the number is blocked.
I received six calls in half an hour, each time hanging up and redialing. I've blocked this number to stop the harrassment.
This number is linked to HSBC bank.
The caller claimed to be from HSBC, requesting to speak with a director unrelated to finance. As the finance director, I was refused when I offered to speak with them, and they declined to specify which company the call concerned. This was unusual, as I am the designated HSBC contact for our business and regularly receive calls from the fraud department.

Number spoofing scam warning.
The caller from 03456002290 asked to speak with Mr Reynolds, but I informed them that no one by that name was available. They called back, inquiring about my name in relation to my account, to which I replied that if they didn't know my name, they must have the wrong number, and then I blocked the number.
