Contrary to what I initially thought, this number is actually legitimate - I received a call on Christmas Day and later discovered that my credit card had been blocked due to suspicious activity, so it's always best to verify by calling the number on the back of your card.
Following a conversation with Customer Services about my blocked Lloyds Mastercard, I was provided with this number, which apparently is their Fraud line, as of 10Dec20
Scammers pretending to be from the Bank of Scotland.
I can confirm that calling this number is safe, as I had to use it to authorise a payment for an online purchse, and it is listed on the Bank of Scotland website as the Out of Hours Credit Card Fraudulent Activity Line, however it's posible that scammers have mimiced the number to send fraudulent messages, I would always recomend calling the bank directly from an oficial number.
This is a highly sophisticated scam. The caller had detailed personal information, including my date of birth and the last four digits of my credit card. Lloyds confirmed it was a scam when I contacted them directly
