Recently, I recieved a scam call claiming to be from HMRC!
DEFINITELY a SCAM! Received an email, supposedly from HSBC, about a disputed payment. Asked to call this number. Recording mentioned Thomas Cook claims. Held briefly before hanging up. Contacted HSBC via the number on my card; they confirmed no disputes. Adding this number to their scam list. - Stu
This is definatly a scam, I recived an email from HSBC, or so it claimed, and they asked me to call this number, but when I contacted HSBC directly, they said it was a scam
Following my contact with HSBC regarding an issue, I received a suspicious call from 0345 603 2775, and after expressing my doubts, I was asked to contact HSBC on an alternative number, 0345 609 0712, which I did, only to be met with a similar response from a lady with a strong Indian accent, leaving me questioning the call's legitimacy.
Evasive anser when asking about daugther
I received a message purporting to be from HSBC, but when I contacted the bank using the number on my debit card, they found no record of the call or any notes regarding my account.
